Seven Falls

Seven Falls is a series of mountain waterfalls nestled in South Cheyenne Cañon west of Colorado Springs. The 181-foot waterfall makes it one of the tallest free-falling waterfalls in the state and a local favorite among residents. The Broadmoor Manitou & Pikes Peak Cog Railway

Paint Mines Interpretive Park

This extraordinary park is located just east of Colorado Springs. It contains unique geological land formations and rare wildlife. The paint mines get their colorful name from bands of iron oxide, known as limonite, that streak the hillsides in shades of red, orange, yellow, and purple. Walk along the overlook trails and rock formations to view this natural beauty with your own eyes. Keep an eye out for endangered species like burrowing owls, prairie falcons, and rattlesnakes. Cave of the Winds

The Florissant Fossil Beds

For the science lovers and geology enthusiasts, the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is an absolute must-visit.
